Drainage structures can come in many shapes and sizes. Each can serve a specific purpose or accommodate many applications with just one structure. McCann can offer a contractor many different set ups depending on the jobsite needs.

An energy dissapator slows the flow of water from one level to another. It helps to break up the flow and avoid wash-out areas.

A storm water collection structure allows multiple sloped areas to drain into one structure then normally it has pipe outlets to carry the flow to its designated area. This particular storm water structure did not require an optional galvanized grate. The grate is quoted upon request.

A valve vault or "control structure" allows access to shutoffs and/or controls for various pipes. This type of structure gives the owner more regulatory control over flows of products in various stages.

Trench drains are recommended in parking, garage entrances or driveway areas to help carry rain water away from driving areas. Trench drains are grated structures, used in low areas to help reduce rain water from collecting for long periods of time.

Pipe drain headwalls are generally classified as 4" or 6" structures, but are available in specialized sizes too. These headwalls are normally located along roadways and interstates to help drain areas. The slopes allow water to flow with out washing out the area around the pipe. The galvanized rodent guard is available when purchasing headwall structures.
